GENERAL SCHEME FOR FINANCING TRADE AND SERVICE

 

 

Nature of Facility

 

Both fund based and Non fund based for Working Capital and for Capital Investment.

Eligible Customers

All existing and new Trading Firms and Companies.

According to requirements without any ceiling.

Rate of Interest

 

5.25% above Base Rate to 8.50% above Base Rate according to credit rating.

Credit Rating  according to Firm’s \Company’s consistency in profit earning, availability of adequate networking capital , TOL\TNW 1:5, regular submission of audited financial statements and Stock statements as applicable.

 

Security

 

(I) Primary - Hypothecation of assets

(II) Collateral Security

For limits upto Rs.25 lakhs:

Mortgage of property covering atleast 100% of the loan proposed (both fund based and non fund  Based).

For limits above Rs.25 lakhs:

At least 50% ( Minimum value Rs.25 Lakhs).

In respect of advances to be taken over from other Banks, collateral security to the full extent of the limit proposed is required.

1. Application form in the Bank’s format.

 2. a) . For a partnership concern: 

      i.   Partnership Deed

      Partnership Letter signed by all the partners in the Bank’s format.

      b) For a sole proprietary concern, sole proprietorship declaration form in the

3. Copies of income tax returns filed.

4. Copy of Trade Registration Certificate, if any.

5. Audited Financial Statements for limits above Rs.10 lakhs.

 

For Term Loans

 

(For purchase of three\four wheeler, delivery van\pick up van, freezers etc.)

1. Proforma invoice in respect of the item proposed to be purchased.

2. Driving license ( if self driven) or an undertaking to employ a licensed driver.

Where Mortgage of Properties is offered 

1. Original title deeds of properties to be mortgaged .

2. Latest tax receipt.

3. Encumbrance Certificate for the last 15 completed years from the Sub Registry.

4. Title Clear Certificate from the Bank’s approved advocate.

Purpose

 

To provide low interest and hassle free credit facility for normal working capital/term loan requirements of Retail/Wholesale Traders, Small Business Enterprises and Professional & Self Employed Professionals.

 

Nature of facility

 

Cash Credit/ Term Loan.

 

Eligibility

i.                    Existing customers as well as new connections including takeovers

ii.                  First generation entrepreneurs as well as promoters of existing units for the purpose of setting up new units.

iii.                The following categories of borrowers will be covered:

a) Retail / Whole sale Traders and Small Business Enterprises

Individuals and firms engaged in retail/wholesale trading, super markets,

and dealers of groceries, consumer durables, cooperative stores etc.

b) Small Business enterprises: 

Individuals and firms engaged in providing any service, including high v           olume retailers/wholesale traders, supermarkets, malls etc.

c)Professionals & Self employed:

Persons technically qualified for skilled in the field in which he is employed

 which includes Medical practitioners, Chartered Accountants, Cost

 accountants, Practicing Company Secretaries, Lawyers, Engineers,

 Architects, Surveyors, Construction Contractors, Management

 Consultants etc.

(Units belonging to the services sector (viz. education, healthcare, tourism, transport etc) will not be financed under the scheme)

 

Quantum of loan 

 

20% of the projected turnover or 65% of the realizable value of the property whichever is less.

Minimum  - Rs. 25000/-

Maximum – Rs 5.00 Crores

 

Rate of Interest

 

Cash Credit: 4.00% above Base Rate, current rate being 14.25% p.a.

Term Loan: 4.50% above Base Rate , current rate being 14.75% p.a.

Maximum repayment period for Term Loan – 60 months

 

Stock Statement

Stock statement to be submitted at the time of execution of documents, and thereafter at quarterly intervals – as at the end of February, May, August and November.

Primary

Hypothecation of stocks and receivables.

 

Collateral

Tangible collateral security of minimum realizable value of 154% of loan in the    form of equitable mortgage of land & building  (Agricultural property or open land outside city/town limits will not be accepted as collateral security). 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Flexi loan for traders: General-purpose term loan for traders

Nature of facility: Term Loan

 

Eligibility: Established traders as well as new ventures started by established business concerns.  Should have earned pretax profits in the previous year.

 

Purpose: For holding of stocks/debts, acquisition of land and building, construction/renovation/ upgradation of Office buildings/showrooms/godowns etc. purchase of equipments, furniture, vehicles etc., shoring up of Net Working Capital, repayment of long term deposits/advances, repayment to suppliers etc.

 

Quantum of loan:   For Traders under C&I – Rs.3 lac to Rs.200 lac

 

Repayment: In monthly/quarterly installments within 3 to 5 years.

 

Pre-payment

For loans above 3 years if closed before completion of 3 years @2% of outstanding.

 

Rate of Interest

 

For loan amounts up to Rs.25 lakhs

Upto 3 years – 4.50% above Base Rate (present effective rate 14.75%)

Above 3 years- As applicable to SB1 rated borrowers (effective rate 16.00%)

For loan amounts above Rs.25 lakhs

Interest as per CRAS rating of the customer.

Primary: Hypothecation of assets

Collateral

Loan amounts up to Rs.25 lakhs

Immovable properties/other tangible assets for a minimum of 100% of the loan amount, personal guarantee of partners/promoters.

Pharma Plus Scheme


 

A Credit Facility for Wholesale/Retail pharmaceutical dealers and reputed medical stores in allopathic medicines and drugs

 

Purpose

 

To provide working capital finance to wholesale/retail pharmaceutical dealers against hypothecation of stock/receivables.

 

Eligibility

 

Wholesale/Retail Pharmaceutical dealers in allopathic medicines and drugs of repute, both existing as well as new units.  The existing/new unit should be profit making/projected to make profits.  The applicant should be a member of “All Kerala Chemists & Druggists Association” or any similar organization, if outside the state of Kerala.  The unit must deal in products of well reputed pharma companies

To provide working capital finance to wholesale as well as retail dealers in home appliances products against hypothecation of stock/receivables.

Reputed wholesale as well as retail dealers in Home appliances products, both existing as well as new units.  The existing/new unit should be profit making/ projected to make profits.  The Minimum rating as per CRAS should be SB 7

Wholesale distributors in various consumer products, electrical goods, pump sets, paints, cement, steel, tiles etc. of reputed companies or any other item for distribution.

Minimum  Rs.   10 lacs

Maximum Rs. 200 lacs

 

Security (Collateral)

 

Tangible Security with realizable value (Valued by approved valuer) to cover at least 100% of the limit and Personal guarantee of Promoters/Directors/Partners/ Owner of property.

 

Rate of Interest : 3.50% above Base Rate, present effective rate 13.75 % p.a.

 

Processing fee :  Upto Rs.1 crore – Rs.500/lac and above that Rs.400/lac

SBT Short Term Corporate Loan to Corporate & non-corporate customers

 

 


Eligibility

 

Existing as well as new corporate customers and non-corporate customers of C&I (Mfg.) and SSI segments. Request from non-customers can be considered on a selective basis subject to their compliance with take over norms

 

Purpose

 

The loan may be considered for any genuine commercial purpose in line with the regular business activity of the customer like

ü               Shoring up of Net Working Capital (NWC)

ü               On going capital expenditure such as replacement of parts of machineries,  upgradation, renovation etc.

ü               Repayment of high cost debts

ü               Research and development expenditure

ü               Implementing Voluntary Retirement Scheme in the company

ü               To meet temporary cash flow mismatches.

 

Period of loan

 

Generally not to exceed 3 years.

 

Rate of Interest

 

Pricing will be linked to Base Rate with a spread based on the Risk Rating

 

Quantum of finance

 

1. No cap for corporate borrowers.

2. For non-corporate borrowers

Rent Plus Scheme 


 (Scheme for financing against rent receivables)

Eligibility

 

Owners of residential buildings and commercial properties in rural/ semi-urban/ urban/ metro areas which are to be rented or already rented to MNCs/ Banks/ Large and medium size corporates/private tenants

 

Facility: Term Loan

 

 

Repayment period

 

Maximum 7 years or the residual lease period, whichever is less.

Minimum Rs.50, 000/-

Maximum Rs.10 crore

 

60% of [total rent receivable for the residual lease period or loan period whichever is lower minus total of advance deposit, estimated amount of property tax, service tax, TDS and other statutory dues for the period]

Primary  : Hypothecation of stocks of materials/receivables.

Tangible collateral security worth at least 100% of the advance amount for advances upto Rs.50 lakhs and for advances above Rs.50 lakhs minimum tangible collateral security worth at least 50% of the advance amount (Minimum Rs.50 lakhs).   Additionally, personal guarantee of promoters/ directors of companies/partners of partnership firms/depositors of title deeds in all cases.

 

Other Requirements

A power of attorney in favour of the bank to collect the proceeds of the contractor’s bills is to be executed by the borrower.

Profit making Corporate/Non-corporate owners of fleet of trucks/tankers/ trailers/ tippers/luxury buses (surface transport operators) owning more than 10 well-maintained vehicles (including the proposed), holding valid route permits and whose registered/ administrative office situated in metro/ urban/semi urban centers, subject to other criteria for the scheme.
